SELENA NEEDHAM

Selena heads our organisation overseeing the ACC Sensitive Claims Team (ASCT) and our Waikato Community Support Team (WCST). Mother of five adult children, including twins, and Granmama to six gorgeous humans, life is never dull!


Drawing on her own experience of terminal illness, domestic violence and sexual abuse, Selena is passionate about supporting you in your journey.

DENISE GERRING

Denise works with adults and youth.


'I have a passion for people realising their value and worth. I have a real heart for teens and youth and the challenges they face. My experience is in working with single parent families and youth.


As a counsellor I acknowledge the courage and strength it takes to take the first step towards counselling.

ANDREW HOPKINS

Andrew is part of our Community Support Team (CST). Andrew works with adults and youth. He offers Telehealth sessions only - these can be phone or video sessions.

I bring my life experience to my work.  Being a survivor of depression and anxiety myself, it helps me to understand what you may be going through.  "As a counsellor I acknowledge the courage and strength it takes to take the first step towards counselling."

KIRANDEEP KAUR

I am an experienced child protection, social worker, life coach, and personal trainer. I work with trauma, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, self-harm, and coping with life challenges. I am able to travel within the Waikato if required, and conduct face to face and online sessions.

AMANDA POOLE

I am a registered social worker with 15 years experience. I have a Bachelor of Social Work with Honours and a Post Graduate Certificate in Health Science (mental health). My work experience is predominantly in the public health sector, in both community and inpatient settings. I have a special interest in working alongside people who have experienced trauma, and those who are experiencing life changing health issues, either themselves or within their family. 


I am available to travel within the Waikato and offer face to face and telehealth appointments.

TYLER PAYNE

I am a final year student completing my Bachelor of Counselling degree at WINTEC, doing my placement with Heart Collective this year. I am passionate about working in the community and supporting people through the difficulties that life brings. I have experience working with primary school aged children and am also available to work with adults. I am really excited to get to work with people from all walks of life and to be a part of their journey. I can do face to face counselling sessions and online sessions. As I am still a student this is a free service.

SAM ANDERSON

Sam works as an ACC Sensitive Claims counsellor, and has worked extensively as a counsellor for a number of years with the primary focus being to strengthen the well-being of the individual, couples and families. Sam is also the Director of Freedom Counselling Ministries, as well as the author and producer of the Freedom manuals. Sam is passionate about helping others gain freedom within their lives.

RAYNOR HUIA

Raynor was born and raised in Flaxmere, Hastings. She is married with four children and four mokopuna (grandchildren). She has worked as a guidance counsellor, a prison Addictions Facilitator in a Kaupapa Māori pilot programme with Rangatahi. She currently works with children, youth and adults in the harmful sexual behaviour space. Raynor began her learning about Mahi Wairua from a traditional source and integrates this traditional healing practice into her mahi.

CATHERINE SIMWINGA

Catherine's specialty areas include grief, and supporting men re-entering society after incarceration. Catherine has worked as an oncology nurse, counsellor and pastor for a number of years and brings a wealth of knowledge from these fields. She is a wife and mother with three adult children. As an immigrant, she brings knowledge and understanding of the stress that migration brings.

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST - HAMILTON

We have an experienced Clinical Psychologist who works with adults and her area of interest are primarily the psychologist assessment and treatment of depression, anxiety, and stress/trauma-related conditions, for which she uses Congitive Behavioural Therapies (CBT)

DANIEL MOLESWORTH

Daniel offers practical, solution based counselling that doesn't end when you leave the counselling space. He offers a wide range of counselling services for individuals, couples, and youth in the areas of addiction, abuse, grief, and general mental health support.

REBECCA GREEN

Rebecca has been practicing as a Counsellor since 2000 and is experienced working with men, women and teenagers (12+) from a diverse range of cultures. She offers a wide range of counselling strategies to suit the needs of each client using a strengths based approach and a person centred framework. Her overall ethos is to help clients build emotional resilience and strengthen internal resources to promote a better quality of life and reduce distress. She works in the areas of trauma, mental health, addictions, domestic violence, LGBTQAI+, grief/loss and chronic illness. Rebecca offers face to face counselling as well as online Zoom/Skype or telephone appointments

VICKIE TUAU

Vickie works as an ACC sensitive claims counsellor and has worked in the area
of sexual harm for 20 years, in an agency and in private practice.

She works with adults and youth.

She is passionate in assisting others to live a happier and more fulfilled life.
She also works with: trauma, domestic violence, relationship difficulties, lack of
confidence/self-worth, stress, anxiety, depression, self-harm, grief and loss, anger management, and coping with life changes. Vickie offers: in person and telehealth counselling.
