Founded by Selena Needham, HEART Collective is the reputable mental health support agency located in Hamilton. We pride ourselves on our ever-growing diverse network of qualified professionals, including Therapists, Social Workers and Psychologists.
We currently have two teams looking after the needs of our clients.

At HEART we believe mental health support services should be available to anybody in need. Keeping up with the growing demand on services is always challenging and we are looking for new people to join our team.
Whether you are wanting to grow your private practice, or simply work a few hours a week, we can offer a range of options to suit your needs. We provide different levels of support depending on your needs and which team you join. We currently have two teams of therapists:

WHERE WE STARTED
Selena fulfilled her childhood dream of becoming a counsellor after a substantial career in financial management and insurane. She was inspired by her own recovery from sexual and psychological trauma and a terminal cancer diagnosis. and a marriage marred in physical and emotional abuse. “I know first-hand that, against the odds, it is possible to overcome the situations we find ourselves in and change patterns to live more of the life we long for.”
After completing a Bachelor of Applied Social Science in Counselling and founded HEART Collective in 2015. Her vision was to create an agency that would contribute to the healing of the whole family through supporting all generations on their journeys. Selena has a particular passion for supporting women to recover from the trauma of abuse so that they can live with greater freedom.
Selena is mum to five, and also Granmama to six. Speaking of family, Selena’s eldest child, Stacey, is HEART Collective's Practice Manager. Many of the therapists at HEART, completed their studies with Selena. This has made for a cohesive team providing a warm, welcoming environment.
